An Old Tradition In Step With The Times

For four generations the Scibilia family has been in the olive oil sector but only since 1984, when the name OLITAR s.r.l. was adopted, the family has begun to work in the area of Tarquinia whose landscapes have always been characterised by olive groves, as evidenced by the frescoes of the painted tombs in the Etruscan necropolis of Monterozzi (UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2004).
Not only that, since ancient times the oil of Rome and neighboring areas, almost coinciding with the
territory of the current Lazio region, has enjoyed a reputation that distinguished it from other oils of
different origins and of a decidedly inferior quality.
